Well no shit the first 3 volumes of Ultimate X-men takes place before Ultimates. The first debuted in 2001 and the latter in 2002. Doesn’t take a genuis to figure that out.

A multiverse storyline with the X men would and should be absolutely incredible and fascinating as there's so much you could do but this is way too convoluted even for comics.
